  "I'll take you to a very cool place." That's what you get to say when you invite someone there. It's bit out of my way, but whenever I have to pickup or drop off someone at the airport and we need to have a bite or a drink, this is the place to go. Fantastic location, set on pillars on the river, you get to watch Seaplanes land and takeoff while you enjoy a good selection of pub fare. You can choose to sit in a covered and windowed patio area with more sun or the nice dining area which still offers beautiful views of the river.

  Great place, good beer and food, especially apps. Bartender - Noah - was amazing. Thursday steak dinner is a steal. Admittedly my medium rare steak was more medium than anything... Protip, especially if you're staying in a hotel in the area: they have a shuttle for people in the neighborhood. Usually locals have a minimum number of drinks they have to order (3? 4? unclear) to take this shuttle for free but for hotel guests it's always free. Just ask the front desk to call them for you. Super nice, don't drink and drive.

  I won a $50 gift certificate to the Flying Beaver late last year. It's a bit out of my way, but I finally decided to put it to use tonight and pay them a visit.
  
  The food was very delicious! I got the blackened chicken and my girlfriend got the macaroni and cheese. We both really enjoyed our meals! Our waitress was also very attentive. She checked in with us multiple times to update us on the status of our food before it was served, and then afterwards to make sure we were enjoying everything. She provided excellent service!
  
  There's also a beautiful view of the water to enjoy while you dine. We didn't get to see any sea planes arrive or take off, but I'd imagine that would be fun to watch, if you happen time your visit appropriately.
  
  Overall, it was a great experience!

  Nice pub with great views and atmosphere. It can get really busy around sunset. They have daily food and drink deals. You find your own seat, so that can be a bit hectic. They also have a great patio where you can feel the sun on your skin. Food is tasty. Nachos can be bigger. Wings are good. You should give it a try when you are close by

  Location is superb for this pub/restaurant. It's right next to the river and there's a also a seaplane terminal here, so you can watch planes fly and "land" while enjoying your meal. Food is decent but sometimes it does get a bit sloppy when they're busy. There is usually a short wait if you're just walking in on a beautiful sunny day. They have a decent variety of draught beer and they also have daily specials. Parking next to the restaurant is very limited but there is a huge free parking lot a few metres across the street. They provide shuttle services too if you do not wish to drive after drinking.
